Care
First of all, wash less
Wool and cashmere do not need washing often. The fibre recovers in open air and holds few odours. After wearing, air the piece flat overnight: in most cases that is enough. Washing every five to ten wears is a good rhythm.
Our wools
Classic Cuff and Thigh-High socks.
- Hand wash in cold water, or delicate wool cycle at 30 °C maximum
- Do not wring
- Dry flat
Our cashmere
Khan Bogd beanie, mittens and slippers.
- Hand wash only, in cold water
- Mild soap or a dedicated cashmere detergent
- Do not rub: press gently, then rinse
- Dry flat, away from direct sunlight
Pilling
The small bobbles that appear on cashmere are not a manufacturing fault. They come from the friction of the shortest fibres, and they become rarer with each wash. Remove them with a cashmere comb or a fabric stone. Backpacks, armrests and belts speed them up.
Storage
Fold, do not hang: the weight distorts the knit. Out of season, store dry in a closed bag, with cedar or lavender. Moths go for natural fibres. That is the flip side of a material with no synthetics, and we would rather tell you.
Avoid
- Tumble dryer
- Hot water
- Bleach and fabric softener
- Machine spin cycle
- Drying on a radiator
